This month we’re looking into the Halloween Special crystal ball! I’m talking about shows that are green lit for this October, and the ones that never even made it off the ground. Plus Gutter Magic creator Richard Douek is on talking about the continuation of his series and how you can help. I call out the term “post Horror” that has been getting thrown around lately and top spooks streaming right to your television this month!
It’s like TV Guides Cheers & Jeers section. ….Remember TV Guide? No? Whatever.

Welcome to the (kind of) first episode of the year! We’ve got a lot to talk about this time, and what better way to start it off than with MORE STAR WARS! Keenan and I finally share our thoughts on ROGUE ONE and ponder on the released title for this years installment, THE LAST JEDI. Also, can Legion and Logan reinvigorate the X-Men franchise? Does GODZILLA 2 have some competition with Anne Hathaway’s COLOSSAL? Will DC’s POWERLESS be better than SUICIDE SQUAD? Probably.
In the gaming world, OVERWATCH is holding a YEAR OF THE ROOSTER event, Keenan talks about his recent completion of FINAL FANTASY XV, and Lee is elated that WATCH DOGS 2 is a massive improvement on its predecessor. Oh, and there’s this new system called the NINTENDO SWITCH, but you’ve probably never heard of it…

This morning we have received our first in depth look at Injustice 2 from Warner Bros. Interactive. As you all know, the first Injustice ripped through the fighting game competition back in 2013 and fans have been clamoring for more! Well today, it has arrived!
“Injustice 2 is NetherRealm Studios’ super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us that allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Featuring a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Injustice 2 continues the epic cinematic story introduced in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk.”
Look for Injustice 2 to hit store shelves for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One May 16th. Click the break for screenshots of some the new challengers joining the fight!

I don’t think I have ever been this bombarded with so many games in one year! Although, I feel like I say that every year, this one just feels like it brought a ton of gems! I’m talking games I never thought I would be interested in playing. Now they are some of my all time favorites. 2016 also introduced us to VR! I tried them all out, but ended up going with the Playstation VR due to property licenses and comfortably. Do any of these new immersive games make the list? Check out the list below!
Keenan’s back with some more horror gameplay! From questionable clothing choices to revenge as the killer, this video is a creepy catwalk catastrophe!

I just returned from PSX in Anaheim, California about a week ago and boy the experience is no lie!
Let me start off by saying that this show is FOR the fans! This being my first PSX show, I was really blown away by how much Playstation cared about its long time fans. The throw backs that were announced last weekend were some loved gems. Remasters like the Crash Bandacoot, Parappa the Rapper and Loco Rocco were all playable on the show floor. There was also a free collectible card game going on during the show. Play a game at a booth, get that games card, which is numbered and the series continues at all Playstation events. How cool is that? This is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what Sony had going down on the show floor.
You cannot forget SWAG! The Official Playstation store was on hand and had a ton of throw back items, including an exclusive 1994 Playstation lettermen jacket. Since I never made the football team back in high school, this was an instant purchase for me. There were also a ton more exclusives including jewelry, shirts, statues and figures.
Remasters and swag are great and all, but most come for the announcements! Here is a run down of all the top announcements at PSX 2016.
Monitor’s Bounty is out now for Halo 5: Guardians! This is the latest content release that marks the tenth update for Halo 5: Guardians. We are talking new weapons, armor and skins, brand new ways to play and seek out custom games, and the largest Forge update 343 had ever released. Click below to see everything we’re getting straight from 343!
What a month for movies we’ve had! From Marvel’s newest offering in Doctor Strange, a return to classic sci-fi in Arrival, and magic and mayhem in Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, it’s been packed. We also got into some discussion on new trailers for things we’re excited for, like Kong Skull Island. So, get out of that Black Friday shopping/violence coma and listen to us wax poetic on this movie-centric episode!

Today Square Enix has unveiled a new trailer giving viewers a first look at what they can expect out of FFXV along with a brief run down of what you might need to know before jumping into this large and sprawling world.
There will also be a free “crown update” at launch. Square has stated…
“The update is the result of some additional time for development since mastering the full game, and provides a variety of updates, minor bug fixes and new features to greatly enhance the overall story and gameplay experience.”
The upgrade provides enhancements for several elements within the game including: Continue reading
Capcom is expecting Resident Evil 7 to sell big in the first quarter of 2017. So big in fact that they have a good feeling it will surpass Resident Evil 5’s record breaking sales of 6.5 million units, which surpassed the 6.3 million units sold by 1992’s Street Fighter II.
Now we all know the main reason RE5 sold so well was because it was coming hot off the heels of Resident Evil 4, which was the first RE game to really change up the classic Resident Evil gameplay dynamic.
Either way, Resident Evil 7 looks to be doing the same. Especially with what we have seen from the Kitchen demo and other demos played on show floors this past year. Including this being the first Resident Evil game that you can play entirely in VR.
Our favorite horror guy, Keenan, is here to make sure everyone is ready for Halloween with some Dead By Daylight gameplay featuring the new 80’s Suitcase DLC! There will be even more entries from this series that includs the Michael Myers HALLOWEEN DLC as well. Drop dead and stay tuned!
Is it just us, or are people yearning for the adventure and flair of the wild west? We dive into HBO’s Westworld and gush over the prospect of the new Red Dead Redemption 2. Keenan replays the craziest episode of Ash vs Evil Dead he’s ever watched, Seamus rekindles his love of Hearthstone, and Lee can’t wait for the inevitable Luke Cage / Iron Fist team-up, all in this new episode that’s bursting at the seams with geeky goodness!
As the spookiest month of the year comes to a close, the holiday cheer starts to pour in. (Blech!) Luckily there is one man in town ready to bring us back to true horror, and his name is Frank West! He’s also brought along his deluxe edition and season pass news to the Space Dragon Network.
Along with Dead Rising 4 the game will come with Season Pass, making it the best way for fans to get the complete Dead Rising 4 experience, granting you access to an all-new multiplayer mode, new story content and the exclusive bonus Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack. The game will be available both from the Microsoft Store digitally and at select retailers globally via purchase of a digital code. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
The crypt door creeks open and out walks THE HORROR GUY!

I think a handful of us saw this coming. But today it has been officilly confirmed!
During the Gears of War Live broadcast, The Coalition Studio Head Rod Fergusson announced that Universal Pictures has optioned motion picture rights to Microsoft Studios’ iconic “Gears of War” franchise, based on the Xbox video game series.
Ah, DragonCon. It is a mythical place of joy and wonder. It could be eight months away and friends on social media are still talking about working on costumes, booking hotels, getting panels together, etc. It is like a week long Halloween celebration of all fandoms and all walks of life. This is why DragonCon is probably the most fun convention you will ever attend.
It had been a while since I attended my last D*con (2012 to be exact). But I was a regular ever since 2005. Conventions are tricky that way. We’d love to attend them all, but life rears its ugly head from time to time. This year a friend of mine was going back for his second year. I had never been to the show with him and felt it was about that time to take the trip up from Orlando to make my triumphant return.
Join Keenan as he explores the world of Far Eden. Well, when he’s not loading the game. Which is all the time. So there’s that. ENJOY!
What’s a slasher game without 80’s influences? Any hardcore horror fan knows that the best decade for the slasher genre was the 80’s. Well apparently Interactive is on the gory crime scene!

Our five dear victi… friends, have decided that if they were to be savagely murdered, they might as well do it with style! “Our five dear victi… friends, have decided that if they were to be savagely murdered, they might as well do it with style!
The Silo is one of the oldest buildings that made up Coldwind farm. It stood for over fifty years before the great storm of 1984 brought the ancient structure crashing down. It was only several days later that local police discovered the twelve bodies buried in the ruins. The coach they had been traveling in was forced off the road by the storm. The passengers had taken refuge in the old building. It is only recently that a sealed suitcase full of clothes emerged from the ruins and was found by a group of happy few (…soon to be fewer). A welcome change as well as a tribute to the golden age of slashers.”

Today Microsoft and Capcom Vancouver revealed the new gameplay trailer for Dead Rising 4 titled “Return to the Mall.” We’re back at the mall that started it all, Willamette Mall! A recon mission quickly goes awry and Frank is up to his knees in undead this holiday season. From cleaving through zombies in the food court to pausing for a few creative selfies, Willamette Mall is a key piece in Frank’s search for the truth behind a government conspiracy responsible for the outbreak. Check out the action for yourself in the video above!
This is the one Horror Guy Keenan has been looking forward to since the first iteration of the Dead Rising series back in 2006.
I was really looking forward to this one ever since its announcement took everyone by surprise at Comic Con. Especially when I found out Adam Winguard and Simon Barrett were behind the project. It felt like after Book of Shadows (the official sequel to The Blair Witch Project) released back in 2000 that that was the official nail in the coffin for the series for quite some time. Fifteen years later we were surprised with a true sequel. One that feels a lot like the first film. But in the end, is that truly what we are looking for in the third installment of this series?
It has been a while since we have seen a good release of Space Jam. Actually, we haven’t really had a decent one! Well the Warner Bros. are here to help!
